Pacing, nail biting, heart racing, palms sweating, with anxiety wondering what will come next. We all feel it, whether we are watching a movie, reading a book, or living life. We all want to know what will come next and in this waiting, we dream. Maybe your dream is working your dream job, getting married, starting a family, seeing the world, or doing great things for others. All these things on our hearts are not wrong if for the glory of God and not ourselves. He puts them there for a reason. But why is it so hard for us to allow the maker of dreams dream for us? In this letter below God writes to us in His Princess by: Sheri Rose Shepherd, reminding readers to wait on their dreams because His timing is perfect. My Princess…wait on Me Wait on Me, My princess. My timing is always perfect. I know you’re anxious about many things, and I see your passion for all the plans I have put on your heart. I know that you long to fly and I see your enthusiasm. However, just as a vine dresser nurtures the vine and waits patiently for the right moment to harvest the grapes, so too am I working tirelessly to prepare you to bear much fruit. Don’t run ahead of Me or try to fly before My plans are complete. Your strength will fail you, and your dreams will wither away. Trust Me that my dreams for you are far greater than you can dream on your own. You will run farther and soar higher if you patiently wait for the season of My blessing. Draw close to Me now, and I promise that this season of waiting will bring you the sweetest of rewards. Love, Your King and Lord of perfect timings. Isaiah 40:31

I’m sure anyone who has a passion for God and things in life feel this way, a passion to explore to get married to learn and grow, to have a career or children, whatever the passion at some point they feel impatient they want to fly already and just go. but we often forget like this writting says everything is in Gods perfect timing we must be patient and wait those passions are put in us for a reason but we might not be prepared for take off just yet, its important to be patient take our passions to God and let him tell us when to fly there is a time and place for everything. in our waiting season we should not focus on ourselves but on God seeking strength and guidance his will not ours. and we should be ttusting him and waiting not anxiously but patiently

I needed this. I easily get excited and ambitious for what God has in store. I am also not great at waiting lol. This was a beautiful reminder to wait and trust in God’s faithfulness.

My pastor’s current series is all about dreaming God’s dreams for you and how to make those dreams come true. You provide some encouragement to go along with some things already stirring in my heart. Thank you!

Waiting is so hard. It seems I’m always waiting on something. But on the flip side, God has already given me lots of good.

As I grow in maturity with Christmas the waiting on Him doesn’t seem as great and I enjoy the lesson’s learned in the meantime (sometimes I do).

Great way to look at it. There is a lesson always being taught and if we get caught up in the waiting we will miss it.

Thank you for this reminder. Sometimes I wish God would just tell me what his dream is for me so that I can relentlessly work on that instead of being diverted to something else and having to let it go but I understand it’s all part of the journey and not knowing is part of trusting Him. 🙂

Love this post. I truly believe God has a plan for all of us, you just have to believe and allow him to guide you. I would be lost without my faith. The whole reason I’m here is because of him. Such an awesome post. Really reminds you what to be grateful for. Thank you.

Such a beautiful post and a great reminder that we must wait on what the Almighty has in store for us rather than rushing up as his plans are the best anytime. When out faith is stronger, the wait is going to be worthy!

We all want to know the future so we can prepare for it because we’re afraid that we might not be able to handle it when it arrives. But it’s also better to leave everything to God because he never fails us and he gives us exactly what we need.

I leave it all mostly to the Lord. I don’t like the feeling of being worried about the future and what it’s going to bring. I love living in the moment.

Just this morning I felt God speak to my heart: “Don’t be discouraged by what you feel like you’re not seeing yet. I continue to work behind the scenes…at just the right time I will pull back the curtain and you will see.” Great confirmation through this today! Thanks!
